The Nike 6.0 Roundhouse is open !

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 10 July, 2010 : - - Welcome to Hossegor, France, where from July 8 through August 27, Nike 6.0 will open its doors to a surfers dream house and invite fans, friends, and fellow surfers into this unique universe. From the kitchen to the garage, to down by the pool, come discover this unique two-story house reflecting the passion and the lifestyle of the Nike 6.0 team.

Enter the kitchen of Michael Bourez, explore Charly Martin’s bedroom, or check out the light box of Alex Laurel’s photos lighting up the bathroom. Visitors to Nike 6.0 Roundhouse can also sign up for surf lessons, create customized Nike 6.0 shoes, tees and boardshorts and register to win a California dream surf vacation at its sister location Motel Notell during the US 0pen of Surfing.

In the basement, you will find the Clark Room, a unique art space curated by Clark Magazine and offering a series of exhibits throughout the summer beginning with work from the Parisian tattoo studio, “BleuNoir,” and continuing with work by DVNO and Artus, who will present works inspired by the lifestyles of Naum Ildefonse and Charly Martin.

After 7pm, the 6.0 Roundhouse will convert into an 'after beach party' destination playing host to a variety of cultural events including the Cine Club playing classic Hollywood surf movies, a concert series featuring international bands and DJs. The 6.0 Roundhouse opened its doors last night with a special, private showcase by the New York band, The Drums and DJ/producer Diplo will host the closing party at the end of August.
