O’NEILL LAUNCHES DEDICATED COLD WATER CLASSIC SERIES iPHONE APPLICATION

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 20 July, 2010 : - - O’Neill have launched an exclusive iPhone Application offering all the Cold Water Classic Series Events from anywhere in the world.

As the O’Neill Cold Water Classic 2010 hits the wilds of South Africa (July 26-30, 2010) keep up to date with all the action with live scores, highlight videos, photos, news updates, swell forecasts, as well as behind the scenes clips put together by the surfers themselves.

No matter how far O’Neill ventures in the search to discover remote and spectacular waves  – from the northernmost event in professional surfing in Scotland, to the coldest in Tofino, Canada - it will be available to follow on your iPhone live with the 3G network or Wifi.

In addition, an event countdown means there is no need to keep checking every minute in anticipation of seeing some of the best surfers in the world, including Jordy Smith and Bobby Martinez, surfing some of the best and most challenging waves around the world. 

Want to see just how challenging those waves are going to be? The application also provides an in depth forecast for each competition spot with predicted conditions over the upcoming nine hours – as well as 7 day tide, swell, period, wind and pressure charts for those who really want to be in the know.
